No way. Ramshorns have always bred like mad whenever I've had them.

My Nerites and laying eggs too, or rather just gor through a spate
of it a few weeks back, and I noticed the store I got them
from (The Menagerie, in Toronto) has Nerite eggs everywhere too.
Maybe it's a seasonal thing? If so how do they know? There's no
outside light in the Menagerie, it's just warmer in there in Summer.
