I have to remove duckweed from all of my tanks every few weeks, except for
one.  I know that duckweed has been introduced to that one, but rarely do I
see even one plant.

That tank is heavily planted and contains a number of platys, among other
fish.  I've never seen a platy eat any duckweed, but they like vegetable
matter, so . . .
