Rachael, where is it leaking? Eheims have rubber O-rings which are supposed 
to prevent leaks. Are you sure that the O-rings are in good shape? (you can 
get replacements if needed). Over time, they can compact and allow the unit 
to leak. You might also apply a small bit of petroleum jelly to the rings to 
keep them supple. I have double taps on my eheim and it leaks sometimes - 
its time to order new O-rings for it.
