I put FFF in my tank and they ate my fine leafed plants (like Rotala wallichi), as well as terrorizing the other fish in the tank and each other. YMMV, of course, but all the algae eaters besides otocinclus and amano shrimp that I've ever put in my tank (FFF, SAE, Odessa Barbs) have always seemed more interested in my R. wallichii than algae.
