Re: [APD] Filamentous algae and outflow

The outflow of the aquaclear goes directly through the middle of the tank,
but most of the tank is generally shielded by the think plant growth. Most
of the filaments were throughout the java moss, which was not in any real
current. So, yes I guess it tends to grow away from the outflow. It's hard
for me to judge how much is among the other plants as it is quite well
camouflaged. It's only when I pulled plant trimmings out that I noticed it
was among the other plants at all (which I figured would be the case through
my incredible powers of logic ;)

Hows the water cirulation in the areas where the algae is growing? Does it
tend to
grow more further away from the outflow of the filter?
