[APD] Re: no water change, ever -- dripping vs draining



You might play a bit with the numbers on this site http://www.angelfish.net/DripSystemcalc.php to compare the 25% - 50% volume drip to the old fashioned "drain and refill" waterchange.

I plan  to relocate my 90 gallon planted tank to my living room but this
time I thought of drilling an overflow on the rear of the tank and
attaching  a drain tube to the basement sump below. In addition, I will
have a constant fresh water supply   (well water) dripping at the rate of
25% to 50 % water change per week  and weekly PMDD. Any comments or
suggestions is most appreciated. TIA
