Nah... All John said since he has limited knowledge but a keen desire to 
play was the direct answer to the initial question... "Why do some say to 
not fertilize the water column on a new tank". I don't know enough to argue 
the point past that. Tom, most of us know your the man in this realm and I 
bow to your knowledge.

I responded late last night and I see I made a couple of typos.. I meant to 
say... "Thanks for the entertainment". :-)
