I am just starting some planted tanks. I'd like to keep fish in them also. I
have some, but they are just grvel and plants. I'd like some input on ideal
substrates (I can't get anything like laterite here).

Probably no Co2 injection for some time yet.

I would appreciate input on setting up my first intentional planted tank.
