[APD] Lighting a nano with a 5300K halogen



I've always liked tropicas old 8" Cube design:

I was considering doing one and having a nice lighting setup like
above.  It looks like they are just using either a 35 or 50watt MR-16
type halogen bulb.

It seems that USHIO makes some 35 and 50watters that might work well
color wise ...5300K with a 36° cone angle.  Looks perfect to me.

Spectral overlap with chlorophyll looks very ideal.

Any opinions/suggestions/comments?
