Re: [APD] Amano's Trimming Method

Speaking of trimming, Can I trim in the middle and replant both halves? If
possible, Can I trim to a little below the desired hieght and replant the
cutting without removing from the gravel? (the molly tank has a few that
have doubled in size in a little over two weeks and the fish usually stay on
the opposite side of the tank when I'm doing maint. (cleaning, etc))

I use a combination of the top trimming and replanting the bottoms,
depending. I find that after several times of just trimming the tops (how
many depends on the type of plant) the bottoms tend to lose their leaves and
look bad. When that happens, I cut off the bottoms & replant the tops. I
think that the article about Amano's trimming methods mentioned doing this
as well.
