[APD] water hyacinths

Anyone know how much light we need for Water Hyacinths? I put a tank out on 
our covered patio today to raise up feeder goldfish for our arowanwa... all 
the feeders we can get don't even begin to take care of him.... I put 3 
hyacinths in there to help soak up the Goldfish sh***t plus filters... so 
hopefully it will work out OK.. but am wondering of direct light will 
enough for those plants...
