Re: heavy metals? (Re: [APD] How do you guys do water changes?????)



Granted, besides Heavy Metals most of the sludge in the bottom of the hot
water heater is rust and dirt, but if you read the instructions provided to
you with your new water heater it states that every spring you should open
the petcock on the bottom of the heater and flush the sludge. Personally I
fill my tank with deionized , distilled, RO water from the store, of course
the plastic container it comes in has polyvinyl chlorides the "New Cancer
Causing Kid On The Block", next week who can tell. Maybe Michael Jackson was
right wearing a mask in public and sleeping in a barometric chamber....
