RE: [APD] RE: disposal of weeds
I can grow lots of other plants, but every time I try java moss, it dies within about six weeks. Java fern is fine in my tanks, so is Anubias sp., and a few others, but not java moss. My water is at the low end of hard (280 ppm), so maybe that is the problem. Tank temperature is about 21-23^C.

It is pretty hard to kill java moss. I threw some out a while ago and it sat
(accidentaly) in a trash can for a long time. It was all dried out but just out
of curiosity I threw it in a tank... it came back. Pretty hardy stuff.
