[APD] What is Malay fern? (Chuck H)

seweryn,

when you say a "short pine tree," i think of some
terrestrial Selaginella that i've seen sold in
petshops as an aquarium plant.  they resemble tiny
pine trees and are even sold as such.

your description also sounds like it could be a
Trichomanes or Bolbitis, which are true ferns.  if it
Trichomanes, that is not an aquatic but a bog or
terrestrial fern.
