[APD] Help with algae identification and cure

I forgot to mention: I don't run the UV. When I do
the brown stuff build up on leaves are very slow, but
nevertheless still there. The brown stuff buildup is
fastest on plants standing in the current from
the filter.

UV+cover up with blankets means very slow 
buildup of the brown stuff.
