[APD] plants listed by river

I'm looking for aquatic plants listed by river.  I've seen alphabetical
listing of plants that include where they are found.  I want the reverse
of that.  I am setting up a 75 gallon planted species tank for
Microgeophagus ramirezi.  I want to use substrate and plants appropriate
to their natural habitat.  Failing to find a resource like that, any
suggestions for plants and substrate appropriate for those fish?
