Won't stop it, just takes longer for water filling the line to reach your
valve (which happens mostly from diffusion of CO2 in the line, not from
siphoning). The coil is just an aesthetic way to add more tubing to the
system and to maintain that "hi-tech" look (important when guests drop in).
You could just run extra tubing all over the room and get the same
functional results.
