[APD] Physan

Has anyone used Physan (dimethyl-benzyl ammonium chloride and ammonium 
chloride ) to kill algae on newly acquired aquatic plants prior to putting 
them in a tank or when transferring plants between tanks? It is not to be 
used with fish so it would not be good to treat a tank with critters. It's 
used as an algaecide, fungicide, bactericide and virucide in the nursery 
trade.
