[APD] Re: What is "low tech" by todays standards?




I have to agree with Ellen O'Connell that low-tech is really a matter of
preference. (And disagree with Bill Wichers' presumption that today's low-tech
tanks necessarily use CO2.)

I didn't mean to imply that *all* low-tech tanks now include CO2, but rather that it seems a *lot* more common than it used to be. I'm just judging by posts I've seen here over the years, but it seems that a lot of people are using CO2 systems without controllers now even in start-up tanks.
