RE: [APD] Digital Photo Equipment

Mario, I met someone in the navy that had "Xicotenco"
for a surname: you have to admit, Aztec names are not
common on this list (how presumptive to think it your
last name).I'm still working on my craft as they say,
when it comes to aquarium photos. Along with the right
settings, lighting is everything. And the built-in flash
is useless (after taking several that had the telltale
glare on the glass). It will be awhile before Amano has
something to worry about:-) But I enjoy the ability to
download the photos moments after taking them--what a luxury.
I have an old manual-focus Nikon with a bunch of Nikor lenses,
but I don't think I will go with Nikon when I upgrade. The
camera doesn't advance the film but half-frames, so I haven't
used it in years. Best of luck with your new and versatile camera!

Thank you for the courtesy of a reply. Your english is 1000% better
than my Spanish!

Bill

Hola Bill,

Im glad you find the right stuff for you. Canon D10
works for me since I have a bunch of equipment for my
non-digital EOS which can I use in the digital
equipment too. There is a new Canon Rebel for
something of $800.00 or so. The problem is that it
came without lens.
Its very funny how you figured out to pronounce
Xicotenco I guess the pronunciation in English might
be about right but my last name is Velez.

Let us know if your new equipments works OK for
aquarium photography

Saludos
Mario fm Mexico
