I had a bamboo shrimp that I thought was the coolest thing, but the wife took one look and ran into the bathroom crying.  She now refuses to eat shrimp.  I think it gave the thing a complex, he walked a couple of weeks later.  Found him about 8 feet from the tank, shoe leather.  Too bad, it was immensely entertaining watching him set up on the driftwood in the current, feeding.
