1 to 20 ratio of household bleach in tap water.  Soak plant
for 2-4 mintues depending on how fine the structure is. 
Rinse gently but thoroughly with tap water.

Very fine-leaved plants might not tolerate at all.  Test a
small part of a plant until you are confident.

Great for killing off hair algae.  works well on other
things too but the short soak won't guarantee that you'll
kill everything.
