An interesting thing about the UltraLux.  Purportedly "one
ballast does it all" yet it seems a half dozen versions are
offered for sale.

It is several times cheaper than the IceCap, which makes
similar claims about it's line of ballasts.  Why bother
making so many different models?  The internal parts cost
very little; you're paying for the *technology* and
versatilty.  So why have so many models if the technology
in one can do it all?
