Actually, there are a handful of plants known to grow in Lake
Tanganyika. (See Kasselmann, p. 29, 36, etc): Valisneria spiralis var.
denserrulata, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum spicatum, and a
Potomogeton species.
