wet/dry filter setup need help

Hello, 
This will be my first planted tank, I have a used 75G tank with wet/dry
filter. W 50 H 20 D 20. I read that wet/dry filter will remove large
amount og CO2 if not set up properly. What is the recommended pump GPH I
should use? 
How should I set it up? Is it better to inject the co2 through the
wet/dry? What equipment do I need?
