Worms and Digest Format

I agree on the DIgest FOrmat -- I'd love to see an open format available 
too.

As far as the worms in your substrate go ... they're probably harmless 
planarians.  They're just breaking up dead organic matter, converting it 
into forms more digestible by other decompsers.  I wouldn't worry too much 
about them.  If there are so many that the tank is untidy,  try putting in 
some fair sized catfish -- they'll eat most of them.
