Subject: HOT Magnum parts
I need a few parts for my HOT Magnum filter. Marineland want almost for 4
or 5 parts as a new filter costs. Any ideas where I can get the parts for a
reasonable cost?
I bought a Hot Magnum in December and while servicing it last night I
noticed the exhaust gasket above the impeller was broken. Stopped by the
local LFS today to pick up a package of replacements (they come in a pack of
two) and was shocked that these flimsily foam type gaskets were $8.99 (cdn).
I can only imagine what parts like impellers and such cost.
