Name of the native fish

Syngnathus scovelli is the name of the pipefish collected.

Lucania goodei is the real name for the so called "Notropis welaka".
These are quite nice fish.

The pygmy sunfish are very black with neon blue spots. Very nice. Needs to
be seen live. Pretty darn small, about Neon size. Loves plant cover.

You can also see who's in trouble and who's not on the listing for
Threatened, Endangered etc. The flounders are very active.
