CO2 Prices - More is NOT less -- but it's not MUCH more

I pay about $9.50 for five pounds of CO2 -- that price has
been holding pretty steady for over a year. When I got a
10 pound capacity CO2 tank recently, I expected to pay less
per pound.

I was surprised to find that the cost for 10 pounds was $10
even. That's certainly an argument for getting a 10 pound
rather than a 5 pound tank right from the start--a ten
pounder costs only about 20% more.

It's not much of any argument for "upsizing" an existing
5-pound setup, though. It would take an awfully long time
to make back the roughly $90 cost of the CO2 tank with the
savings on CO2.
