I'm considering converting from a powerhead-driven reactor to injecting
CO2
into my HOT Magnum. I've noticed a lot of swishing noises from the Magnum
into my HOT Magnum. I've noticed a lot of swishing noises from the Magnum
when it ingests random bubbles from the tank. Will the Magnum be noisy
with
CO2 injected into its input?

Thanks.

dave,

I havent noticed much noise at all, and had bubble counts up as high as
3-4 per second at one point (bio wheel on the tank too at that time) so
you should be all good. The pleasures of a bottom mounted impellar, no
bubbles actually getting swished around. Oh ya.. btw, a rubber band
broken off and stuck into the air-removal tube helps slow down the
process, and gives you more dwell time in the system, instead of the
bubbles just geting drawn out right away.
