I have an Eheim 2028 on a 60 gallon that I maintain. It's overkill, but I did that because the maintenance is sporadic. The tank sits on a Home Despot el cheapo cabinet that is inside a converted closet. It looks built-in. The filter is totally silent, especially with the cabinet doors closed. Quick disconnects, easy to clean, easy to prime. TW
