One of the original beauties in the fishkeeping hobby. 
They do fine in planted tanks.  They seem to like to have
places to go and lots of plants, driftwood, rocks, caves,
whatever apparently is to their liking.

The usual Betta rules apply -- they get along with almost
anyone but their own kind.  But one alone can be a nice
accent fish in a small tank.
