If you use enough phosphate buffer to actually buffer your pH then you will
not be able to use the pH-KH-CO2 charts or formulas to determine CO2. Small
amounts of phosphate don't cause any problems, but the amount of phosphate
necessary to buffer your water destroys the relationship.
