It shouldn't be a problem. Picture six 200-lb guys standing in a spot the
same size without falling through the floor. :)

The floor is strongest along walls where the floor joists intersect at a
perpendicular angle-- as opposed to walls where the joists run parallel to
the wall-- because the load will be distributed over more joists. So you
may want to pick such a wall to play it extra safe.
