I just found the easiest way to catch my clown loaches! I put a length of PVC pipe in the tank, where they usually like to hang out. After a day, they were hanging out inside of it. Then, I capped one end and let them get used to that. When I was ready to take them out of the tank, I just put my hand over the open end and lifted the pipe out, with them in it.
