short red plants

Crypt. wendtii "red" (or "brown"). It'll get bigger than 3" though under some
conditions. Like, if it's growing well, but since they frequently don't
that may not be an issue for you.

Crypt. pygmae grows red/brown leaves under grow-lux light and gets no bigger
than 2" on a good day. It may be extinct in the hobby (again) though.
