current-tolerant stem plant

Could anybody recommend a stem plant that doesn't have
huge light requirements (in a sunny spot, but overall
a low-lit tank--1.5 wpg) and tolerates some water
current? My Rotala indica isn't tolerating it well
(one stem is growing completely crooked from it!), and
a water sprite I used to have there was either just
stunted or hated the current in that spot, too. I'd
appreciate any help you could offer.
