Big Plant Platning

I have a HUGE Amazon Sword. Planting it is turning into a pain in the ...
I have about 4" of substrate on the bottom, mostly gravel and flourite.
Whenever I get it mostly buried, it pops back up. ANy ideas on keeping it
down? I had thought about putting it into a pot and hope this would
work... I figured I could simply drill a bunch of holes in the side of a
platci pot , stuff it in there, threa some roots thru, and try that -- is
this a really bad idea or just a bad idea?
The tank is very deep, so reaching the bottom is sometime sa bit of a
hassle, undoubtably part of my probem.
