Re: Aquatic Plants Digest V5 #275

G'day Robert

I have been growing this sword in a pond outside near Brisbane in Australia
for a few years . It grows very slowly, has very stiff dark green submerse
leaves and seems to multiply mainly by division at the base. Mine has never
flowered.

It may be like that other southern species E. opacus and requires much
colder winters to induce flowering.
