sore lips ?

thanks for the reply, the sight of some african characins darting around the planted tank sure is a magnificent view, i'm thinking of adding more yellow congo to my tank.
now here the problem, one of my congo tetra, and one of the yellow congo develop a sore-like disease in his mouth, what is it ? has anyone experienced this problem ? is this really a disease or just a wound carried away from the battles of the males, since i only have male congo tetras ?
