I totally agree.  There has been a lot of hocus pocus with people blaming
all sorts of things on Amquel, from shrimp death to daphnia death.  It just
isn't so folks.  I have chloramines in my water and do use some Amquel (the
other half is Novaqua).  After reading that bull about killing daphnia I
used only Amquel in the daphnia tank and even overdosed a bit.  They're
still there.  Now introducing plants that have hydra to the daphnia tank,
that's a different story :-)

Hummm .........this really kills shrimp?
My question for you, why the heck are my shrimps all find then? I've been
using Amquel and lots of it for many many years.
Never a shrimp death due to that. Bark up another tree.
