That does sound interesting. I'd rather try to bend a sheet of clear acrylic
so that it curves inside the square tank. That way there would be no corners
to break the illusion. If the acrylic was just the right length, it would
naturally bow from back corner to back corner. Then a little silicon to seal
it is all that is needed. It's gonna be hot and humid in there.
