NO3 Reference Solutions

Tom posted a great idea for setting up a reference solution.   I did this
tonight to verify my Nitrate test kit.   However I had one twist to add to
this.   I have reloaded my own shotgun shells since I was 15.  I just
happened to have a powder scale for weighing out the amount of powder that
goes in the shell.   Powder is weighed in grains.  There are 7000 grains in
a lb.   Your standard powder scale weighs down to 1/10th of a grain.   

1 Grain = 64.8 mg.
1/10 Grain = 6.48 mg.

If you are interested in buying one,  try Bass Pro or maybe Cabella's.   I
got mine from Bass Pro in Springfield, MO.
