Far too grown up

Dear Robert,

I am truly sorry that you perceive me in this light.  I am also sorry
that you have forgotten how to laugh.  I laughed when I wrote every
last word related to Bobby.  Others have written me that they love the
things I write.  But I am aware that you can't please everyone, and
that is O.K. with me.  I forgive you your unkind words towards me.  I
always knew that you were one of us, I just wanted to point out how
your comments make you look to some of us.  I have always taken the
lawsuit seriously.  It is Bobby that I don't take seriously.  You may
not be willing or able to understand my take on things.  You clearly
have a painfully serious outlook.  But that is O.K., I guess a few of
us have to (even though I can't imagine why).  I will make you a deal.
I will refrain from further comment on your approach to issues, and
you go right ahead and rip into any further posts about Bobby I make.
I am grown up enough to handle it.
