That is probably very good advice from personal and legal viewpoints and I
will certainly follow it, as I have been doing.
But just as the American Civil Liberties Union finds itself defending
unpopular people like terrorists and child molesters to insure that
constitutional guarantees are maintained, I have to point out that trying to
get people not to talk about a subject is the similar to what the other party
in the lawsuit is doing, something for which he has been highly and properly
criticized.
Having done my duty, if someone will send me the address to which I should
send my check, I'll be happy to contribute to the defense fund. That posting
has given me the energy to do that.
