How tall can Blyxa get?

Hello everyone,

     I would like to know how tall B. aubertii can grow. The only
resource I got with this plant had it at a maximum of 12 - which
would not be enough to reach the top of my 55 and drape across
the surface. I currently have three growing on one side of a tank, hoping 
that it would eventually form a dense stand and cover up some
tubes, heaters, etc. up to the surface. Would Cyperus helferi
be a better choice for this purpose?
