Rotala rotundifolia (green)

I recently bought a few back issues of ADA's
AquaJournal and drooled over the beautiful pictures.
(Highly recommend Nature Aquarium fans to check them
out)

I am wondering about the plant Amano-san and other
Japanese aquatic gardeners call "Rotala rotundifolia
(green)"... All of the text is in Japanese, but the
plant-names are in Latin / English. I did a search
of the archives, and couldn't find any information.
Is this a separate plant from R. indica / R.
rotundifolia (are these still considered the same?),
and if not, how is it kept so green under the high
lighting? If it is separate, anyone have a source
for it?

TIA,
Tony
