reef tank.

Ground temps below frostdepth are pretty constant all year round,
aren't they?  So you could control temps entirely by flow rates with a
large enough earth-heatsink.  Slightly easier might be to use a
basement wall as a heatsink -- no burial required.  Of course the temp
would be somewhat higher so more surface area, longer dwell times,
higher flows would be required -- but everything would be where you
could get at it if you needed to.

I'd like to hear how this turns out.
