The low pressure gauge would not be difficult to replace. It just unscrews 
from the regulator body. The spring (and diaphragm, as long as the 
regulator is open) are another matter. I would not take it upon myself to 
perform any work that required opening the regulator body.. A reputable 
victor repair station should be able to take care of this relatively 
cheaply.
