You are right Greger, the line George was referring to is not under Tech
Brief: Water Chemistry, but is to be found under Tech Brief: Carbon
Dioxide "What is a good KH for a planted aquarium?", last sentence of
second paragraph. " It is best to adjust the hardness slowly, using a
test kit to measure the changes as you go along." This section is almost
identical to its counterpart in the water chemistry brief so it's
understandable that George got confused. Don"t flame me George! : > ).
If you have not read that Tech Brief yet you should as it too has
information relevant to your query. BTW, you handle english better than
many Americans do ; }.
